Nashville is growing at an unprecedented rate.
Whether it’s new urban development or endless traffic in the morning, we’ve all experienced what it feels like to live in a city that’s among the top ten in the U.S. for population growth.
Perhaps the most exciting part is how the small business and entrepreneurial community has flourished.
DePalma began as a small business in Middle Tennessee almost ten years ago, and in many ways we’ve spent the last several years growing alongside Nashville. From participating in Nashville’s EO chapter to mentoring aspiring business leaders at the Entrepreneur Center, our team stays involved in the small business community.
But we want to do more.
That’s why we’re introducing our Innovate Nashville Program for qualified startups and small businesses in Music City.
As owners of a bootstrapped small business, we know a little help, in the beginning, can go a long way — particularly when you consider the ROI of investing in product design and development.
Our Innovate Nashville Program gives qualifying small businesses and startups the chance to work with our award-winning design and development studio at a more affordable rate.
This gives growing businesses access to first-class user experience design and software development resources that would normally present a high barrier to entry with regard to cost.
Our Founder and CEO Floyd DePalma outlines our hopes for the program: “Our team is comprised of professionals who have been designing and building software for decades. There is nothing in the world we do better. This offering is our investment as a company in the Nashville community. We hope to play a role in many success stories to come.”
Utilizing a battle-tested design and development process to build a product or service can be the difference between success and failure. And we want to lower the barrier to entry, so more local businesses grow into thriving companies.
Jordan Schneider, our VP of Marketing, describes it this way: “There are plenty of businesses that never get off the ground due to problems that are not necessarily reflective of the product or service they provide. A little extra help, especially in early stages, can go a very long way.”
As of today, we plan on adding up to 6 partners to this program. Applications will no longer be accepted after November 30th, 2018.
Your business qualifies if you meet the following criteria:
1: You’re a local business that has offices in greater Nashville or Middle Tennessee
2: Your company has 25 or fewer employees
All applications for this program will have to pass a screening process by our management team. We’ll be evaluating cultural factors like employee satisfaction as well as the viability of each business to scale.
This is important because we want to focus our time investment in high-impact areas. To get the process started, please apply here.
